The Last Stand

In the final Act of Hamlet, Claudius secretly creates a plan to kill Hamlet with the help of Laertes. Their plan is to have a duel and nick Hamlet at least once so that the poison will kill him. However, Claudius plan to kill Hamlet backfired on him and killed many innocent people because of the anger and vengeance. The entire kingdom was whipped out because of the obsession to avenge their father or adversary. While the fighting was

 King Claudius allows revenge to take over him and causes him to set up a plan to kill Hamlet. The vengeance that Claudius has has built up to the point that any way to kill Hamlet he will do. He uses a poison drink and sword to hopefully kill Hamlet. But, his entire plan does badly when everyone begins to die. Hamlet’s mother Gertrude drinks the poison that ends up killing her. Then Hamlet is struck by Laertes, which causes Hamlet to kill Laertes. Before Hamlet dies he forces King Claudius to drink the poison and kills him. By the end the entire room is killed off leaving no one to rule the throne.

 After all the death of the King Claudius, Hamlet and Laertes, young Fortinbras rushes in and captures Norway. Since no one is in power, Haritio crowns Fortinbras king of Norway.  Fortinbras ends the play by capturing the land his father lost.
